Rear End Collsions can be Fatal

Rear end collsion mostly occur at slower speeds in stop and go traffic, but depending on the size of the rear vehicle, can be fatal. A Putnam County man died Monday following a 4 p.m. rear-end collision on U.S. 17 in Crescent City, according to  the Florida Highway Patrol.

A semi-truck tractor collided with a pickup truck driven by a Putnum county man, investigators said. The impact pushed the Chevrolet S-10 into a utility pole at an intersection.
